UPSC CDS Exam Notification 2024 : Education qualification
Educational Qualifications:
(i) For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.
(ii) For Indian Naval Academy- Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution.
(iii) For Air Force Academy-Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Graduates with first choice as Army/Navy/Air Force are to submit proof of Graduation/provisional certificates on the date of commencement of the SSB Interview at the SSB.
UPSC CDS Exam Notification 2024 : Age Limit
(i) For IMA-Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 2001 and not later than 1st January, 2006 only are eligible.
(ii) For Indian Naval Academy-Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 2001 and not later than 1st January, 2006 only are eligible.
(iii) For Air Force Academy-
Age: 20 to 24 years as on 1st January, 2025 i.e. born not earlier than 2nd January, 2001 and not later than 1st January, 2005 (Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 yrs. i.e. born not earlier than 2nd January, 1999 and not later than 1st January, 2005 only are eligible.
Note: Candidate below 25 years of age must be unmarried. Marriage is not permitted during training. Married candidates above 25 years of age are eligible to apply but during training period they will neither be provided married accommodation nor can they live with family out of the premises.
(iv) For Officers’ Training Academy-(SSC Course for men) unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 2000 and not later than 1st January, 2006 only are eligible.
(v) For Officers’ Training Academy-(SSC Women Non-Technical Course) Unmarried women, issueless widows who have not remarried and issueless divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible. They should have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 2000 and not later than 1st January, 2006.
NOTE: Male divorcee/widower candidates cannot be treated as unmarried male for the purpose of their admission in IMA/INA/AFA/OTA, Chennai courses and accordingly they are not eligible for these courses.

UPSC CDS Exam Notification 2024 : Application Fees
FEE: Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) either by remitting the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using Visa/Master/Rupay Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment or by using internet banking facility of any Bank.
UPSC CDS Exam Notification 2024 : Nationality
राष्ट्रीयता: अभ्यर्थी अविवाहित पुरुष / महिला हो और :
1. भारत का नागरिक हो, या
2. नेपाल की प्रजा हो, या
3. भारतीय मूल का व्यक्ति जो भारत में स्थायी रूप से रहने के उद्देश्य से पाकिस्तान, बर्मा, श्रीलंका, पूर्वी अफ्रीकी देशों जैसे कीनिया, उगाण्डा तथा तंजानिया, संयुक्त गणराज्य, जांबिया, मलावी, जैरे तथा इथियोपिया या वियतनाम से प्रवर्जन कर के आया हो। परन्तु उपर्युक्त वर्ग 2 और 3 के अंतर्गत आने वाला उम्मीदवार ऐसा व्यक्ति हो जिसको भारत सरकार ने पात्रता प्रमाणपत्र प्रदान किया हो, पर नेपाल के गोरखा उम्मीदवारों के लिए यह पात्रता प्रमाणपत्र आवश्यक नहीं होगा।
UPSC CDS Exam Notification 2024 : How to apply
- उम्मीदवार upsconline.nic.in वेबसाइट का प्रयोग कर ऑनलाइन आवेदन करें।
- आवेदक के लिए आयोग की वेबसाइट पर उपलब्ध एकबारगी पंजीकरण (ओटीआर) प्लेटफॉर्म पर स्वयं का पंजीकरण करना अनिवार्य है
- उसके बाद परीक्षा के लिए ऑनलाइन आवेदन भरने के लिए आगे बढ़ें। ओटीआर का पंजीकरण जीवन में केवल एक बार करना होगा। इसे वर्ष भर में किसी भी समय किया जा सकता है। यदि उम्मीदवार का पंजीकरण पहले हो रखा है, तो वह परीक्षा के लिए सीधे ऑनलाइन आवेदन भरने की प्रक्रिया आरंभ कर सकता है।
